Product Usage

While it can depend on several factors, a good rule of thumb is to apply your products from thinnest to thickest!

For specific questions, email skin@rfaskincare. Be sure to include a list of all products you are currently using in your routine.

It’s safest to add products into your routine one at a time. This approach allows your skin time to adjust and limits confusion about what product might be causing a particular skin response. We recommending waiting 1-2 weeks before adding new products into your new routine. For specific questions, email skin@rfaskincare.com.

Don't worry - this is totally normal! A temporary flare-up of acne, known as purging, is very common afterstarting a product that increases cell turnover such as retinoids or exfoliating acids like Koji Clear pads and Lux Pads. The good news? This temporary flare-up usually lasts just 6-8 weeks, and it's your skin's way of revealing its true potential. Stay patient – clearer, glowing skin is on the horizon! Your skin isn't acting up; it's actually leveling up!

It is very common to experience a slight tingle after applying medical grade skincare products. However, if it feels more like stinging or burning, you are likely experiencing a compromised skin barrier. This can be caused by factors such as over-exfoliation or change in climate. In order to restore your skin barrier,  stop all of your skin actives (such as exfoliants,  acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, etc.) and apply soothing and hydrating ingredients such as RFA Rescue Cream or one of our RFA moisturizers. Once your skin has normalized and you’re no longer experiencing any burning or stinging,  slowly reintroduce your other products back into your routine.

Orders & Shipping

We pride ourselves in fulfilling your orders very quickly so you can start using your products as soon as possible!  Unfortunately, this means that once your order has been submitted our team is likely already working to fulfill your order. We will always try our best to accommodate any changes if your order is not already in process.  Please email claims@rfaskincare.com with your name and order # and our team will assist promptly!

Orders received before 12:00 pm CST Monday through Friday are shipped out the same day. Any orders received after this time will be shipped out the following business day. Shipping times will vary according to the carrier and destination. We offer expedited shipping options for your convenience.

We are unable to redirect orders to a different address after the package has left our facility. To check on the status of an order, email claims@rfaskincare.com.

To initiate a return, please review our return policy. Please note that we can only process a return if it meets our Return Policy criteria outlined above. Gift cards are not eligible for a return.

It has been our experience with shipping carriers  that “delivered” is not always accurate and can actually occur several days later.
